Area Radio Clubs
Here is a list of a few of the formal Amateur Radio Clubs in the area.
- Madison County Amateur Radio Club meets at the DerDutchman in Plain City the 4th Saturday of the month for breakfast. Union County hams are welcome to attend. Information about their repeater can be found here
- The Delaware Amateur Radio Association is made up of licensed amateur radio operators in and around Delaware County, Ohio.
- The Marion Amateur Radio Club (MARC) has been operating in Marion, Ohio since 1962.
- Champaign Logan Amateur Radio Club
- Central Ohio Radio Club (CORC)
- Mount Vernon Amateur Radio Club - they have a free to download study guide for the Technician License in their documents section on their site.
- Kenton Amateur Radio Club - Their club meetings are on the last Monday of the month at Henry's restaurant on North Detroit street. There is a gathering at 6 for dinner and the meeting starts at 7. The Kenton Club also has a repeater, W8VMV -146.625 (85.4PL)
- Central Ohio Digital Interconnect Group - is a group of dedicated amateur radio enthusiasts who want to further digital modes of communication in the Central Ohio area. We have been active in packet, APRS, VOIP and have pioneered new technologies such as D-Star digital voice and data connectivity, APCO P25 and Mototrbo DMR.
