March Meeting highlights

We want to thank Bob, W8ERD for coming out and presenting about mesh networking. We appreciate him being able to make the trip to our meeting. The presentation was great and he was able to answer a lot of questions we had about mesh  networking.

Just a reminder that the next meeting in April will be held at EMA Station 720 on N. Maple Street. We will be preparing for NVIS Day April 22nd. If you want to try out an NVIS antenna now is the time to start putting one together if you don't already have one. Bryan, KD8ZWI is coordinating the activity. Bryan would like to hear from you if you are planning on participating, have an antenna you want to try out, and/or are willing to help out with NVIS Day activities. May 2nd Meeting - The Ohio Section Manager, Scott, N8SY and Arlin, KD8EVR are going to do a presentation about DMR (Digital Mobile Radio). 

June 10th is the trunkfest at EMA station 720. Ken, W8KWH is coordinating that. If you are able to help out with it, please let Ken know. He has 2 time slots available, 8am to 11am and 11am to 2pm. Ken can be e-mailed at w8kwh at yahoo.com

June 24-25 is Field Day. Ron, NX8Y is our Field Day coordinator. There is still a lot of planning that has to be done. If you are interested in helping out plan or help out at Field Day, let Ron know. He can be e-mailed at nx8y22175 at gmail.com

The club will not have a meeting for July.
