ARRL Ohio Club Coordinator visit
We want to thank John Myers, KD8MQ, the ARRL Ohio Affiliated Club Coordinator for coming to the Union County Services Building yesterday evening to talk to the group about becoming an ARRL affiliated club. It was also great to have Stan Broadway, N8BHL, ARRL Ohio Section Emergency Coordinator at the meeting too! The information John and Stan provided to the group was well recieved and very helpful. Frank Reed, KD8UFE did a good job setting the meeting up. Thankyou to everyone that was in attendance. We were able to ask questions and have a good group disscussion about creating a club and the benifits of becoming an ARRL Affiliated Club.
From the Naughti List:
Had a great meeting last night with KD8MQ John Myers, the ARRL's "Ohio
Affiliated Club Coordinator." He gave a very good presentation at the ECC
building on the pros and cons of being and how to stay an ARRL Affiliated
Club. That information was added to our list of "knowns" now as we look
into forming a true Amateur Radio Club in Union County. About 20 people
attended, including interested parties from neighboring Madison and
Delaware Counties. Stan N8BHL (

the Ohio Section ARES lead. He had nice things to say about the activity
level here in Union County and on the Repeater! Nice to hear! Thanks,
Frank KD8UFE, for setting all that in motion and for setting up the meeting
last night.
